Steven "Coz" Mark Fontenot

On July 11, 2020 Steven “Coz” Mark Fontenot left this world to join his friends and family in Heaven. Coz was a true Cajun. His life was dedicated to the Cajun culture, as well as the preservation of French Cajun music. He formed a group called Coz Fontenot and the Metro Playboys.

Jimmy Dale Mosbroker Sr.

Jimmy Dale Mosbroker, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the age of 68. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Basile Baptist Cemetery.

Lisa Fontenot Thibodeaux

Lisa Fontenot Thibodeaux, 54, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 pending 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Fr. Sal Istre will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Cecelia LaFleur Cormier passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the age of 75. No Services have been planned at this time.

Jada Elizabeth Boulet passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the age of 34. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Pastor Gregory Gaspard officiating. Fellowship and remembrance will be held from 2 p.m.

Marilyn Landry "Nonie" Daigle

Marilyn Landry “Nonie” Daigle, a native of Brusly St. Vincent, Louisiana and a resident of Labadieville, Louisiana reunited with her loving husband and family on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the age of 87.

Dwan Romero

Dwan Romero passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the age of 39. No Services have been planned at this time. Dwan is survived by her mother, Julianne Nelson Romero; one son, Nathaniel “Reece” Romero; one brother, Jacque Romero. She was preceded in death by her father, Davis Romero.

Gregory Guillory passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the age of 53. No Services have been planned at this time. Greg is survived by one brother, Eric Guillory and wife Anya and one sister-in-law, Patricia Guillory.

Donald Dean Godeaux passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 2 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.

Mary Effen Latour passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Avoyelles Manor, where she was a resident for the past year and a half. She was 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10 a.m.
