Eunice Children's Mardi Gras parade

The Eunice Children’s Mardi Gras run and parade was held Sunday.
Benjamin Fontenot, coordinator of the Eunice Children’s Mardi Run, said that there were 450 children registered and 70 trailers on the route.
The run left the Eunice Recreational Complex at 9 a.m. and a downtown parade was held at 3:30 p.m.
Children enjoyed four chicken chases along their route. They had lunch at the Recreational Complex.

Seventh annual Parade of Paws

The seventh annual Parade of Paws parade was held Saturday at 3 p.m. on downtown South 2nd.
Organizer and event planner Jerica Guillory held registration in front of Beaucoup on S. 2nd for the event before the parade began. There were over 35 entries.
All canines were dressed in Mardi Gras attire and costumes. Three judges were on hand before the parade began to judge for winners.

12th annual Taster's Choice at LSUE

The 12th annual Eunice Community Health Center’s biggest fundraiser, the Taster’s Choice, was held Wednesday evening inside the Mumphrey Center at LSUE.
