Wrong-way driver killed in 3-vehicle St. Landry Parish crash

A three-vehicle crash on U.S. 190 near Lakeshore Drive in St. Landry Parish claimed the life of 32-year-old Brandon Taylor of Port Barre. Louisiana State Police Troop I troopers began investigating the wreck shortly before 2 a.m. Monday.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz reports, “On Dec. 10, 2024, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputies investigated a complaint of desecration of a grave at Serenity Memorial Park, 7352 Hwy 31, Opelousas.

Impaired driver charged in death of unrestrained motorist 

Billy Kritzer was arrested on charges related to a fatality crash that claimed the life of 59-year-old Gilbert Price Jr. on Jan. 9, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
