The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. May 6-May 8 Derrick Martin Bellard, 31, 600 block of Rayne Street, Port Barre. Simple obstruction of a highway, resisting an officer, attempted battery of a police officer, disturbing the peace.

Vibrant Nails & Spa located at 143 North Bobcat, Eunice, was destroyed early Friday morning. According to one of the owners Kim Keohavong, “It was an old building. It appears the roof caved in. I know we did experience bad weather as well.” Owners Kim and Bobby Keohavong rented the building space from Samco Properities. The nail salon business has been open since 2014.
