The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. February 24 Amanda Hardy Jones, 38, 200 block of W. Cherry Street, Opelousas. Hold for Opelousas City Court. Arrested by Opelousas City Marshals. Heather R. Sorcia, 33, 200 block of E. Dean Street, Eunice.

Acadia Parish fugitive last lived in Lawtell area

The Duson Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with locating Kevin Blanchard II. Blanchard is wanted for burglary and felony theft. Warrants have been issued for his arrest. Blanchard is described as a white male, 28 years of age. He is 5’9” in height and weighs 211 pounds.

2 teens wounded in shootings

A 16-year-old male was shot at least three times while walking in the 200 block of North Vivian on Thursday. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said the shots came from a vehicle that traveled away on Amazon Street. The victim underwent surgery and is expected to survive, he stated in a news release.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. February 23 Jacob Scott Kibodeaux, 32, 600 block of Bernice Street, Eunice. Damage to property with intent to defraud, theft. Arrested by Eunice Police. Anthony Dylan Tarpley, 24, 100 block of Henna Drive, Youngsville.
