Man, 70, charged with first-degree rape, obscenity

A 70-year-old Melville man has been charged with first-degree rape and two counts of obscenity, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz. Charged is Lawrence W. Naquin of the 200 block of Church Street. An arrest warrant was issued on Jan. 25 and Naquin was booked into the parish jail on Feb. 1.
