Eunice Police Arrests report

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. April 1 Markel Henry, 34, 2100 block of Alice Court, Lake Charles. Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, hit and run, driver’s license suspension, revocation of license Mark Clifton Miller, 39, 4200 block of Highway 190, Eunice. Probation warrant.

Washington juvenile charged as adult for 2nd-degree murder

Michael J. Zachary, a 16-year-old Washington male is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 38-year-old Keith Adam Joseph of Washington.

Shooting reports reappear

Reports of shootings on Eunice streets have returned. That’s the bad news. The good news is there have been no reports of anyone being wounded or worse, and there are reports of property damage, according to Police Chief Randy Fontenot.

St. Landry Parish Grand Jury indicts 4 defendants for 3 separate murders

A St. Landry Parish Grand Jury reviewed three separate murder cases Monday and returned indictments against four defendants. In the first case, a 15-year-old juvenile was indicted for the second-degree murder of Keith Joseph from Washington.
