Man dies in Arnaudville mobile home fire

State Fire Marshal (SFM) deputies continue their investigation into a mobile home fire that claimed the life of an Arnaudville man. Just after 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Arnaudville firefighters responded to a report of a mobile home fire located in the 1000 block of Lena Drive.

There are 12 openings for police officers for the city of Eunice, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot at the Eunice Rotary Club Wednesday. The shortage of police officers affects the city during times of festivals, parades and the recent Mardi Gras holiday.
