Eunice man charged in woman’s drug death

A 28-year-old Eunice man was arrested Saturday in connection with overdose death of Kassidy Guidry, 23, of Eunice, on April 23, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. Charged with second-degree murder is Tyler Sloane, of the 100 block of Valse Drive, Eunice.

Teen sought in shooting that killed 1, wounded another in downtown Eunice

A 32-year-old man died as the result of a graduation party that turned deadly in downtown Eunice at 12:39 a.m. Sunday, according to Police Chief Randy Fontenot. The man who died was wounded in the torso and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
