A Crowley man faces numerous charge, including attempted first-degree murder, after a home invasion early Monday. Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said officers were called to the 500 block of Stutes Street at 4:20 a.m. Monday in reference to a home invasion.

Driver killed, passenger injured after high speed crash on I-49

A multi-vehicle fatality crash on Interstate 49 near mile marker 8 in Lafayette Parish that occurred at about 8 p.m. Monday claimed the life of 41-year-old Jeremy D. Jackson of Carencro, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.

2 dead in shooting at Morrow (updated)

Update: Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has confirmed that an additional victim of last night's shooting in Morrow has died in an area hospital.

Driver, unrestrained passenger killed in St. Landry Parish crash

A two-vehicle fatal crash at about 9:15 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. 190 and La. 752 in St. Landry Parish claimed the life of 78-year-old Ray Dulpechin and 64-year-old Paul Young of Church Point, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
