Police: Woman dragged by hair, beaten

A 25-year-old Eunice man is charged with domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment after dragging a woman out of a vehicle and into a residence where he beat her, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.

Wreck on La.13 near power plant

A four-vehicle wreck occurred at about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday on La. 13 South, nearb the Cleco plant. First responders on the scene included Acadian Ambulance, Acadia Sheriff, Eunice City Marshals, and Eunice Fire Department.
