Eunice man arrested for home invasion

A 17-year-old Eunice man was arrested Monday for an April 22 home invasion in the 200 block of Childs Street. Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot identified the man as Kevin L. Thomas, 17, 800 block of South Martin Luther King Drive, Eunice.

Recovered 4-wheeler

The Mamou Police Department, with assistance for the Eunice Police Department, recovered a stolen all-terrain vehicle on Tuesday on the Old Basile Highway. The ATV had been reported stolen off of Red Fox Lane. According to Mamou Chief of Police Brent Zackery, the ATV was recovered at around 9:30 a.

Eunice man arrested for torching his Corvette

A 39-year-old Eunice man has been arrested for setting his Corvette on fire in the middle of Cemien Road in Basile, according to a news release from the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
