The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Jan. 11 Ross Andrew Wilson, 23, 100 block of Alvin Street, Opelousas. Possession with intent to distribute schedule I drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.

Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Jan. 6 Stephanie N. Istre, 35, 200 block of South Aymond Street, Eunice. Domestic abuse battery. Heidi Fontenot Cormier, 35, 700 block of Hill Street, Eunice. Two counts of simple battery and resisting arrest.

Eunice substation is not closing

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s substation in Eunice is not closing, Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said. Guidoz explained that four dispatchers who had worked at the station were transferred to the Opelousas office to save money. The move will allow one more patrol deputy at the station, he said.
