Eunice Police arrest man for attempted armed robbery

Eunice Police were still sorting through a report of an attempted armed robbery Friday morning even thought a suspect had been arrested. Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said a call was received from a guy who said a gun had been pointed at him.

Eunice man killed in crash

A crash in Acadia Parish at the intersection of La. 365 and 367 on Friday claimed the life of 38-year-old Joseph Devillier of Eunice, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I. The wreck, which occurred at about 6 a.m.
