VILLE PLATTE – St. Edmund opened with a 21-10 surge as the Lady Jays rolled to a 54-30 win over rival Sacred Heart of Ville Platte.

It was tough District 4-4A opener for the Lady Bobcats as North Vermilion rolled to a 58-35 win over Eunice High.
It was a close battle in the first quarter as the Lady Patriots (5-4, 1-0) held a 9-6 advantage.

Blue Jays down Church Point

It was a big win for the Blue Jays as St. Edmund grabbed a 54-44 victory over Church Point.
The Jays opened the game with a 10-7 run, aided by five points from Easten Coleman.

Bobcats down Patriots, 56-39

Eunice opened District 4-4A play with a 56-39 win over North Vermilion.
The Bobcats (9-3, 1-0) travel to Mamou (6-13) on Friday in a non-district battle with the Green Demons.

Bobcats, St. Ed's grab wins

The Eunice Bobcats improved to 7-3 on the season with a hard-fought 62-57 victory over Carencro.
The two teams battled for control in the first quarter as Eunice held a 17-16 advantage.

Jays, Hornets lead District 5-1A team

St. Edmund and Catholic High of Pointe Coupee battled for the District 5-1A championship and the two teams dominated the All-District football list.
