Basketball fans looking for games to watch during the holiday break, St. Edmund will hold the a basketball tournament next week with 10 boys teams and five girls teams.
Seven St. Edmund players were named to the 2020 Division V, District 2 All-District team.
Lady Jay senior Anna Belle Fontenot was named to the first team.
For Eunice High girls head basketball coach Wayne Fontenot, the game goes beyond wins and losses.
“My job is not to make them Division I college basketball players,” he said. “It’s my job to help them become successful young women.
