Bulldogs rally past Blue Jays

St. Edmund closed the gap to a point early in the fourth quarter before Iota went on a 17-0 run as the Bulldogs sealed a 57-39 win over the Blue Jays. St. Ed’s scored the game’s first three points on a free throw from Copeland Miller and a put-back bucket by Nathan Zaunbrecher.

2010 baseball team induction highlights Athletics Gala

LSU Eunice Athletics officially inducted the 2010 National Championship Baseball team into the Bengals’ Hall of Fame during this weekend’s annual Athletics Gala. The team is the third to have a joint induction, joining the 2006 and 2008 National Championship teams.

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor Kinder held an early lead, but the Bobcats took control as Eunice earned a 58-47 win over the Yellowjackets Tuesday in a non-district clash. A bucket by Jared Thomas and two free throws from Tyjawan Pickney helped EHS force a 4-4 tie, but Kinder answered with a 5-0 run.
