A Eunice man who escaped from the St. Landry Parish Jail at about 9 p.m. Sunday, stole an ATV from a residence in Eunice and surrendered to deputies on Wednesday, according to a news release from Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.

Carl Wayne Tezano, 45, 200 block of Darjean Street, Opelousas. Violation of protective order. Arrested by Washington Police.

A Eunice man who escaped from the St. Landry Parish Jail Monday and led law enforcement officers on a foot chase in Evangeline Parish on Monday was recaptured at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
