LAFAYTTE — The National Science Foundation is impressed with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s use of satellite imagery from space for research, outreach and, yes, even art exhibits. It’s why the NSF has awarded a $364,874 grant to UL Lafayette’s Regional Application Center.

Edwards unveils budget, calls for significant investments in education and infrastructure

With the state flush with cash, Gov. John Bel Edwards unveiled a proposed budget Monday that includes more than $1.1 billion in infrastructure spending and investments in education at all levels.

LSU students discuss pros, cons of online education
