Waiters to raise money for Women United

Fun, frivolity and shenanigans will be the theme for the Men Who Wait on Women Who Wine, sponsored by Women United, an affinity group of St. Landry-Evangeline United Way. The event is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. July 21 at the Delta Grand Theater, 120 N. Market St., Opelousas.

United Way scheduled Giving Day on May 10

St. Landry-Evangeline United Way will be participating in South Louisiana Giving Day, a project of Community Foundation of Acadiana, on May 10.

United Way plans Boogie Ball

The St. Landry-Evangeline United Way Boogie Ball will be held on from 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Opelousas Delta Grand Theatre. Food will include Cochon “Ghoul”lait provided by Café Josephine, eggplant and shrimp dressing from Soileau’s, and brisket.
