A couple of felons face multiple charges in connection with burglaries, according to Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division deputies arrested a man who has ties to the Iota area for distribution of heroin, according to Sheriff KP Gibson.
The arrest was made in the Basile area of Acadia Parish.
Acadia Parish Sheriff KP Gibson is inviting everyone to “Coffee with the Sheriff” at 8 a.m. Saturday, at LSUE Community Education Building.

Dwayne Thomas Lejeune, 54, 15000 block of Tiger Drive, Eunice. Domestic abuse aggravated assault.
A Saturday road rage incident turned into shots being fired at a vehicle on Interstate 10 near Rayne, according to news release from Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, working with St. Landry Sheriff’s Office and Eunice Police have arrested an individual on burglary charges, according to a news release from Sheriff K.P. Gibson.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office has released the names of 11 people who have been recently been arrested for narcotics violations. They are listed along with their photos as follows:
