Bobcats start slow but hit pay dirt

Make no mistake about it, the 2024 Eunice Bobcats are a work in progress. A promising work in progress, but one nonetheless. That was quite evident in the Bobcats’ 14-6 win over the North Vermilion Patriots last Thursday in jamboree action. It was a tale of two halves for the Bobcats offensively.
Eunice High School named its Homecoming Court. Seniors maids include, seated from left, Shiya Ceasar, Brooklyn Darbonne, Ava Daigle, Vivian Andrus and Tyja Cooper. There’s no doubt that over the past couple years, Eunice High’s volleyball team has been the best it has ever been under coach Wayne Fontenot. Two years ago, the team set the school record for wins and last season it was streaky as they finished the year at 16-16.
