By Tom Dodge Sports Editor The Blue Jays improved to 3-3 on the season Monday as St. Edmund rolled to an 11-1 mercy-rule win over Ascension Episcopal SEH scored a run in the first inning when Blake Moran doubled and courtesy runner Owen Cart crossed home plate on a hit by Ian Rider.

Bobcats down WCA

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor It wasn’t a good start for the Bobcats on Tuesday but it was a great finish as Eunice rallied for a 17-7 win over Westminster Christian Academy. WCA jumped out to an early 4-0 lead but Eunice responded with 12 unanswered runs to grab control of the game.

Bobcats open season with wins

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor CHURCH POINT – The Bobcats held off a late Church Point rally as Eunice High grabbed a 5-4 win over the Bears Wednesday in the season opener. Eunice took a 1-0 lead when Evan Fruge walked, advanced on a passed ball and scored on a wild pitch.
