By Tom Dodge Sports Editor This is the 50th year of Bobcat baseball and Eunice High head coach Scott Phillips has been a part of 29 seasons. “Baseball is still baseball and we still have kids who are eager to play the game,” Phillips said.

By Tom Dodge Sports Editor VILLE PLATTE – It was a showdown between rivals Tuesday in Ville Platte and fourth quarter runs by Sacred Heart sealed the sweep over St. Edmund. In the Lady Trojans’ 30-23 win, the game was close early on as Sacred Heart held a 6-4 advantage after the first quarter.
