Final performances at Eunice Players’ Theatre

“A Candle in the Window” is down to its final performances at Eunice Players’ Theatre. The two-act Christmas-themed play directed by Becky Broussard and Jody L. Powell will finish its run with performances Thursday through Saturday, at 7 p.m. nightly.

The 22nd annual Noel on the Prairie holiday shopping gala event was held Saturday and Sunday. Over 30 local Eunice merchants and businesses opened their shops for shoppers to browse pre-holiday merchandise. Some merchants offered discounts and sales and light refreshments.

Glendale Elementary’s first grader Colton Dupre completed addition and subtraction fluency on the Xtra Math program. The computer program offers daily practice and records student progress.

At the end of each six weeks, St. Edmund Catholic School recognizes the top three AR students in each grade. These are the three top AR students for the second six weeks of the school period.

Residential Garden of the Month chosen

The Eunice Bulb & Blossom Club presented the Residential Garden of the Month to the Oliviers, Winnie and J.B., at 630 West Ash. The home features flowering landscaped beds of plumbago, Purple Heart and hibiscus.

Eunice Players’ Theatre play opens and board offers a Noel discount

The Board of Directors for Eunice Players’ Theatre announces the opening of the second show of its 51st season tonight with “A Candle in the Window” and its participation in Noel on the Prairie this weekend.
