Childhood is time of exploration for youngsters. Curiosity is a healthy way for kids to broaden their horizons. However, in an effort to learn more about their world, children may find themselves in harm’s way.

CFMA gives French books, CDs to library

The CFMA (Acadiana Chapter) gave a donation Monday to the Eunice Public Library. They presented two sets of Cajun French CD’s by Fred Charlie, two Dictionaries of the Cajun Language and two Dictionairies of Louisiana French.

Classroom materials provided, EHS senior project

Eunice High School seniors Abigail Miller and Megan Fontenot completed their senior project. They raised money for the special education classroom through a number of bake sales.

Randi (Kaye Kaye) and Philip Laperouse of Beaumont, Texas announce the birth of their daughter, Madilynn Estelle Laperouse, born at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, on March 9 weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce.
