Boom Tasting at St. Edmund

Abby Chapman’s third grade class at St. Edmund experienced a Boom Tasting. As they rotated to different tables at ‘Mrs. Abby’s Book Diner’ they got a ‘taste’ of different genres they will be reading throughout the school year.

Guest speaker at St. Edmund

Lance Strother was a guest speaker for St. Edmund Catholic’s School’s faculty and staff. Strother is an inventor, coach, consultant, speaker, campus minister, musician and teacher.

Eunice High FFA members plant 7,000 plants

Eunice FFA members helped plant 7,000 plants that included 4,000 California Bulrush Plugs and 3,000 Giant Cutgrass Plugs along the Gulf Coast at Burn’s Point Launch in St. Mary’s Parish on July 25.
