At the start of each school year, one of the beautiful traditions at St. Edmund Catholic School is the Eucharistic Procession. The first All-School Mass marks the beginning of our supreme act of adoration and the summit of our Christian lives.

Amelia Ramirez Katelyn and Stephen Ramirez of Basile announce the birth of their daughter, Amelia Reise Ramirez, born at Acadian Medical Center on July 17 weighing 7 pounds and 4.8 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Tony and Monica Hebert of Eunice.

The Miss Eunice contest was held Saturday evening with many young and older girls vying for a crown. During the pageant first runner-ups were named, along with Photogenic, Congeniality, and People’s Choice Awards given.
