Katelyn and Stephen Ramirez of Basile announce the birth of their daughter, Amelia Reise Ramirez, born at Acadian Medical Center on July 17 weighing 7 pounds and 4.8 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Tony and Monica Hebert of Eunice.

The Miss Eunice pageant was held Saturday evening at the Health & Science Technology building on the LSUE campus. The Miss Eunice contest was held Saturday evening with many young and older girls vying for a crown. During the pageant first runner-ups were named, along with Photogenic, Congeniality, and People’s Choice Awards given.
