Annual Bazaar at St. Thomas More Catholic Church

Accelerated Readers at East Elementary

East Elementary students begin using the Accelerated Reader program as early as the first grade, and celebrate their accomplishments. The first group of students to reach their goal are second graders out of Kimley Triplett’s class.

Boo-tiful Halloween craft ideas

The city of Eunice will observe Halloween from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30. Halloween is a highlight of fall, as children and even adults anxiously await October 31.

Student of the Year at Eunice High

Parker Pedigo has been selected Eunice High Student of the Year. Pedigo has maintained an above 4.0 grade point average. He is an Louisiana State University Eunice dual enrollment student, class student body president, and was junior and sophomore class president.

Oakley Miller Samantha Bush and Quentin Miller of Eunice announce the birth of their daughter, Oakley Mae Miller, born at Acadian Medical Center on Sept. 15 weighing 7 pounds and 5 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Denise and Dan Bush of Wagoner, Oklahoma.

Bulb & Blossom Club Quilt raffle
