Paper science experiment at East Elementary

Lauren Lafleur’s second grade science class at East Elementary had to answer the mystery question, “Can you build a house out of paper?” They discussed how they can make paper stronger by folding it. To end the lesson the class did a fun paper folding activity on making hats.

St. Edmund School presents Dancing With The Stars-Blue Jay Style

St. Edmund Catholic School presented Dancing with the Stars – Blue Jay Style on March 7. St. Edmund Catholic School, along with the School Advisory Council hosted its 4th Dancing with the Stars – Blue Jay Style fundraiser inside the St. Edmund gymnasium.

Eunice High Alumni gives to Renaissance Pep Rally

The EHS Alumni Association has made a donation to Eunice High Renaissance Pep Rally. Sponsoring the event as a $2,000 Emerald Donor, $25 each for the Top Cat in each grade and $500 to sponsor the testing T-shirts for all students at Eunice High. Tara F.

Birth Announcements

Shepherd Fontenot Corey and Kerri Davis Fontenot of Lake Charles announce the birth of their son, Shepherd Davis Fontenot, born at Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Lake Charles on Feb. 11 weighing 8 pounds and 15 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Don and Becky Davis of Lake Charles.

Bulb & Blossom Residential Garden chosen
