A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Carl James Fontenot, 69, who passed away on May 31, 2020. Reverend Dan Edwards, Pastor of St. Jules Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Inurnment will follow in St.

Eunice Police officers injured in pursuit

Two Eunice Police officers were injured when a car they were pursuing on U.S. 190 made a left turn into their vehicle and forced it into the median near the Spirit truck stop, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.

Percy Mae Thibodeaux passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the age of 90. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home Chapel of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
