The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. February 1 - 3: Markeith Malik Seria, 17, 200 block of Sharon Street, Opelousas. Aggravated second degree battery. Arrested by Opelousas Police Department. Franky H. Frank, 34, 1700 block of E. Maple Avenue, Eunice.

Rita June (Janice) Bergeaux

BASILE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Rita "June" Bergeaux announces her passing on Sunday, February 02, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was 55.

Diana Deshotel Myers

Diana Deshotel Myers passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the age of 73. No Services have been planned at this time.

Jeffrey Jerome Fruge

Jeffrey Jerome Fruge, a resident of Eunice, La, passed away in his home on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 66 after a long battle with a very rare brain disease. He was surrounded by his loving wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
