Keeping the eggs intact

I was already thinking about Easter eggs when I ran across this statistic: In 1877, steamboats hauled 500,000 dozen eggs from the little St. Landry Parish port of Washington to New Orleans. That’s 500,000 dozen; 500,000 times 12, or six million eggs.

LSUE Testing Center offers HiSET exam The newly opened Testing Center on the LSU Eunice campus has expanded its offerings after being named a HiSET (GED) testing site. The HiSET exam is a test used to measure high school equivalency skills.

LSU AgCenter awards first cannabis-related research funds

The LSU AgCenter has awarded the first cannabis-related research funds from an agreement with GB Sciences Louisiana, the company working with the AgCenter to produce therapeutic cannabis, said Ashley Mullens, AgCenter coordinator of external and governmental affairs.
