Eunice man dies after being shot by burglary suspect

Scott Daville, of Eunice, who was shot after confronting a suspected burglar in his pickup truck Thursday morning, died from a single bullet wound, Eunice Police detective Robert Brickley said. Daville, 56, died at a Lafayette hospital.
