Elison Spain passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the age of 69. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. His family will carry him back to his final resting place in Tennessee at a later date.

LifeShare hold blood drive in Eunice Wednesday

LifeShare Blood Center will hold a blood drive on Dec. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart in Eunice and on Dec. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart in Ville Platte. Mark Lioret, with LifeShare Blood Center, stressed the importance of donating blood during this time of the year.
