The Kavanaugh Nightmare is almost over. For almost three weeks Judge Brett Kavanaugh — a good father, a good man, a brilliant conservative legal jurist — has had his reputation permanently trashed and dragged through the mud by Democrats and their willing accomplices in the liberal media.

The Take Back the Night event had to move indoors due to rain on Oct. 1 to the Eunice Municipal Complex. The event is held by St. Landry St. Landry-Evangeline Sexual Assault Center. It was the seventh annual march and vigil in Eunice.

State Bank & Trust Company announced Jacob N. Bergeron is vice president city manager. Bergeron is a graduate of St. Edmund High School. He obtained his bachelor of business administration degree from McNeese State University. He has been in the banking industry for eight years.

1 teen dead, 2 seriously injured in head-on crash

Louisiana State Police Troop I troopers responded a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality on a. 70 near Oak Harbor Drive in St. Martin Parish at around 9:30 p.m. Oct.5. The crash later took the life of 16-year-old Destiny Boyd of Napoleonville.
