DeVillier concerned about state government’s growth

City takes another step to clear abandoned properties

Maple Avenue bridge to reopen

The Maple Avenue bridge may open as early as Feb. 26, according to information given to State Rep. Phillip DeVillier. The bridge at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Bobcat Drive has been closed since January 2017.

Elward James “Jay” Fontenot passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 peacefully at home with his family. He was 85 years old. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
