The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. Jan. 31 Brandon Miles Savoie, 35, 200 block of Harvey Road, Opelousas. Possession of schedule II drugs; bench warrant. Arrested by Probation and Parole. Dominick Joseph Levier, 23, 400 block West Maple Avenue, Eunice.

The 33rd annual Here’s the Beef Cook-off is scheduled March 3 at the St. Landry Parish Ag Arena, U.S. 190 West, Opelousas. The St. Landry Parish Cattlemen’s Association dedicated this year’s cook-off to Dalton Comeaux, who organized and was a member of the St. Landry Parish Cattlemen’s Association.
