Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Jan. 19 Martin Langley, 39, 100 block of Ledet Lane, Church Point. Monetary instrument abuse and theft. Jan. 20 Jacoby Frank, 24, 500 block of Lewis Street, Eunice. Serving time. Joanna Tate, 30, 11400 Rossow Court, Denham Springs.

Brandon Waynelee Pingleton

Brandon Waynelee Pingleton passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the age of 37. No Services have been scheduled at this time.

Crime rates during 2017 continued a downward trend that started in 2015, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. Fontenot said he cannot say exactly why crime has been dropping since he became chief in 2015. “What to attribute it to I really can’t tell you.
