Road by DMV office to be striped

The curve at the intersection of Jake Street and West Ash Avenue will be striped at the first of the week, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. The location is near the Department of Motor Vehicle Office.

More federal flood money requested

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and other state officials are asking for more federal money to help Louisiana residents recovering from the devastating March and August floods. They’re also asking the feds to loosen what they feel are burdensome regulatory strings attached to the money.

School job changes approved
