First United Methodist Church of Eunice to celebrate its 130th anniversary

Sheriff: Man abducted woman in Lafayette, raped her

A 21-year-old Opelousas man has been charged with raping a woman he met in Lafayette. St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz reports deputies received a call Oct. 2 in the Lawtell area reporting that a female victim had been beaten and raped.
