Governor: Address Louisiana’s real problems

This is a response to articles that appeared in today’s paper (8/29). Gov. Landry seems to want to fix problems that don’t exist. He wants to prevent the teaching of critical race theory in our public schools. I’m not aware of anyone who is doing that.

Old hospital building reduced to pile of rubble

The two-story portion of the old Moosa Memorial Hospital building is a pile of rubble after a Labor Day Weekend demolition. The building trembled, the steel screeched as a powerful shear tore through the building Saturday morning. St.
