Parish Council reconsiders public hearing procedure

Public hearings have recently extended the meeting time by about two hours for the St. Landry Parish Council. “I think it has become necessary that we consider putting something into place where we don’t deal with more than four ordinances per meeting,” said Council member Mildred Thierry.
