The Eunice Police Department is investigating several shots fired complaints that occurred during the last several days. On Thursday, April 2, at about 8:50 p.m., the EPD responded to a shooting complaint in the area of Fuselier and Acadia Streets.
On April 2, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I responded to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Louisiana Highway 13 near Mariaun Road in Evangeline Parish.  The crash claimed the life of 68-year-old Timmy Devillier of Mamou and 25-year-old Andrew Godeaux of Mamou.  The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2008 GMC Sierra, driven by Devillier, was traveling north on Louisiana Highway 13 approaching Mariaun Road.
