The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Tuesday, Feb. 10 Gary Walter Broussard, Jr., 30, 100 block of Doc Duhon Street, Lafayette.

Robert James Fontenot

Robert James Fontenot, age 66, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1959, in Mamou, La, and was a resident of Eunice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall of Eunice.

Kenneth James Lalonde, age 74, passed away on February 5, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Joyce Mae Reed Guillory

Joyce Mae Reed Guillory passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 85. Arrangements are pending.
