The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Wednesday, April 22 Brian Lee Lopez, 42, 600 block of S. 6th Street, Eunice. Bench warrant. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Eunice Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire Saturday morning at 1821 West Laurel Avenue. According to Eunice Fire Chief Chaise Brown, “At around 2:15 a.m.
Road construction at the intersection of LA 13 and West Ash Avenue started last week, April 13, and looks to have gotten off to a strong start. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said passing motorists just need to exercise a little more patience when passing through so that the project can be as quick and painless for the city as possible.
