Santa Story Hour at the library Dec. 13 The Eunice Public Library will have a Santa Story Hour at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 on the children’s floor. There will be pictures with Santa, Story telling, Sign Language, songs, Holiday craft and treats.

Climate check: The updated USDA Hardiness Zone Map

In November, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released its latest version of the Hardiness Zone Map. This mapping system categorizes geographic regions according to their average annual minimum winter temperatures.
The Eunice Rotary Club presented a $2,200 check to Glyn Michaud, pharmacist at the Eunice Community Health Center, to help defer the cost of the replacement of the front glass doors of the center that were vandalized.
