A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 167 near Lurby Road in Vermilion Parish claimed the life of 18-year-old Ramsie Baumgardner of Maurice and 31-year-old Brandon Isaac of Carencro, according to a Louisiana State Police Troop I news release.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lafayette for Richard E. D’Aquin Sr., 94, who died peacefully at his home in Lafayette on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.
