Schools scores outgrow pre-pandemic levels

Performance scores for the state’s public schools and systems exceeded pre-pandemic levels in the 2023 performance scores released on Monday by the Louisiana Department of Education. Louisiana’s 2023 statewide school performance score improved 1.4 points to 78.5.

Eunice High racks up another A in state scores

Eunice High School attained its fifth A in the state performance scores, which were released Monday. Eunice High is the top-scoring regular high school in St. Landry Parish. Also scoring A is the Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts in Opelousas.

Louisiana State University Eunice and McNeese State University have signed multiple agreements that will allow LSUE students to seamlessly transfer to McNeese State after earning an associate degree in business administration, health sciences, nursing and radiologic technology.
