EUNICE–It is with great sadness that the family of Sue Johnson announces her passing on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou at the age of 80. A Graveside service for Sue will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Reed Cemetery in Oberlin.

Carl Ray Martel passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at the age of 74. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Sam Fontana Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
