Early voting ends Saturday

Early voting for the Dec. 10 election ends Saturday. In St. Landry Parish as of Tuesday, 661 votes were cast in person in early voting that began Nov. 26. There have been 735 votes cast when absentee votes are added to the total. As of 5 p.m.

According to Eunice Police Lt. Ryan Young, at 8 p.m. Friday, police received a call and it was reported that two people were shot near an apartment complex on Betty Street in Eunice.
