Early voting ends Saturday

Early voting for the Dec. 10 election ends Saturday. In St. Landry Parish as of Tuesday, 661 votes were cast in person in early voting that began Nov. 26. There have been 735 votes cast when absentee votes are added to the total. As of 5 p.m.

Calls about shots fired are once again peppering the Eunice Police Department’s radio logs. The gun incidents have taken a dangerous turn. On Nov. 25, police received a call that two people were shot near an apartment complex on Betty Street.
